Find Your Fleet

Nine questions. Sixty seconds. We'll tell you which cruise lines were basically made for you.

Know Your Options

Every cruise line we work with. No spin. Just the truth about who each one is built for.

Mainstream

Royal Caribbean

The biggest ships on the water. Waterslides, surf simulators, rock walls, Broadway shows, and more dining options than most small towns. If you want a floating city that never runs out of things to do, this is it.
Best For: Families, first timers, and anyone who wants options on top of options.
The Honest Take: The ships are incredible. The crowds match. If you thrive on energy and variety, you will love it. If you want quiet, book the right cabin and know where to go.

Carnival Cruise Line

The most fun you can have on a budget. Carnival does not pretend to be fancy and that is the point. Good food, solid entertainment, and an atmosphere that says "you are on vacation, act like it."
Best For: Budget conscious families, friend groups, and first time cruisers who want a good time without overthinking it.
The Honest Take: You get a lot for the price. The ships are fun and the vibe is loose. If you are looking for white glove service, this is not the ship for you. If you want a party with a pool, welcome aboard.

Norwegian Cruise Line

Freestyle cruising means no assigned dining times, no formal dress codes, and no set schedule. You eat when you want, where you want, wearing what you want. The ships are loaded with options but the pace is yours.
Best For: Couples, solo travelers, and anyone who hates being told when dinner is.
The Honest Take: The freedom is real. The upsell is also real. A lot of the best restaurants and experiences cost extra. Know what is included before you board so there are no surprises.

MSC Cruises

European owned, globally operated. MSC ships are big, modern, and offer a strong value in the Caribbean and Mediterranean. The onboard experience leans more international than American, which some people love and others do not expect.
Best For: Families looking for value, Mediterranean itineraries, and cruisers who want a different flavor than the big three US lines.
The Honest Take: The ships are beautiful. The service style is European, which means it is different, not worse. If you are used to Royal Caribbean or Carnival, expect a learning curve on how things work.

Disney Cruise Line

Themed everything. World class entertainment. Kids programming that is in a league of its own. Disney does not just put characters on a ship. They build an experience from the moment you walk on to the moment you walk off.
Best For: Families with young kids, Disney fans of any age, and anyone who wants the highest production value in entertainment.
The Honest Take: It is the most expensive mainstream cruise line for a reason. The quality is there. But if your kids are teenagers or you are traveling without children, there are better values out there. The magic is real, but so is the price tag.

Virgin Voyages

Adults only. No kids. No buffet. No traditional cruise vibes. Virgin built this line for people who want a cruise that does not feel like a cruise. Tattoo parlor, vinyl record shop, drag brunch. It is intentionally different.
Best For: Couples, friend groups, and travelers in their 30s to 50s who want something modern and social.
The Honest Take: If you hate the idea of a traditional cruise, this might be the one that changes your mind. If you love traditional cruising, this will feel like a different planet. Know which camp you are in before you book.
Premium

Celebrity Cruises

The step up from mainstream without going full luxury. Celebrity focuses on design, food, and a more refined atmosphere. The ships feel upscale without feeling stuffy. Think of it as the difference between a nice restaurant and a chain restaurant.
Best For: Couples, foodies, and travelers who want something elevated but not pretentious.
The Honest Take: Celebrity delivers one of the best overall experiences at sea. The food is genuinely good, the ships are gorgeous, and the vibe is adult without being exclusive. If you have only cruised on the big three, this will feel like an upgrade.

Princess Cruises

Quiet confidence. Princess does not try to be the loudest or the flashiest. It focuses on comfortable ships, strong itineraries, and a pace that feels relaxed without being boring. The MedallionClass technology is genuinely useful.
Best For: Couples over 40, repeat cruisers, and anyone who values a calm, well run ship over nonstop entertainment.
The Honest Take: Princess is one of the most underrated lines in the industry. The food is solid, the service is consistent, and the ships are comfortable. It will never make headlines, but it will never disappoint you either.

Holland America Line

Classic cruising for people who have done it before. Holland America leans older, quieter, and more refined. The itineraries are strong, especially in Alaska and Europe. The ships are elegant without being over the top.
Best For: Experienced cruisers, retirees, and travelers who want destination focused itineraries with a calm onboard atmosphere.
The Honest Take: If you are under 50 and want nightlife, this is not your ship. If you want excellent ports, good food, and a ship that does not feel like a theme park, Holland America delivers every time.

Oceania Cruises

The food cruise line. Oceania built its reputation on having the best cuisine at sea, and it delivers. Mid sized ships, destination rich itineraries, and an atmosphere that is upscale but not stiff. Think of it as the bridge between premium and luxury.
Best For: Foodies, experienced cruisers, and couples who want luxury touches without the full luxury price tag.
The Honest Take: If food matters to you more than waterslides, Oceania is your line. The ships are older but well maintained, the itineraries are excellent, and the dining experience punches well above its price point. One of the best kept secrets in cruising.

Viking Ocean Cruises

Destination first. No kids allowed (under 18). No casinos. No waterslides. Viking strips away the noise and focuses on where you are going and what you will learn when you get there. Small ships, included excursions, and an atmosphere built for curious adults.
Best For: Well traveled adults and retirees who want cultural depth, included shore excursions, and a ship that stays out of the way of the destination.
The Honest Take: This is the thinking person's cruise. If you want enrichment lectures, quiet evenings, and ports you have never heard of, Viking is unmatched. If you want a pool party and a casino, look elsewhere.
Luxury

Silversea Cruises

Ultra luxury with an expedition edge. Silversea runs both traditional luxury ocean ships and expedition vessels that go to Antarctica, the Galapagos, and the Arctic. Butler service in every suite. Small ships. Big destinations.
Best For: Experienced travelers who want true luxury, destination immersion, and the option to go places most cruise ships cannot reach.
The Honest Take: This is not entry level cruising. The price reflects the product. If you have done the mainstream lines and want something genuinely elevated with a European sensibility and adventure options, Silversea is worth the investment.

Regent Seven Seas

The most all inclusive cruise line on the water. Business class flights, unlimited shore excursions, all beverages, all dining, gratuities, and WiFi. Everything is included. The price is high because the price is the only price.
Best For: Travelers who want zero decisions about what costs extra. One fare, everything included, no wallet needed onboard.
The Honest Take: Regent is for people who do not want to think about money on vacation. The suites are spacious, the service is polished, and the included excursions are solid. If the fare makes you flinch, it is not the right fit yet. If you are ready, nothing else compares to the simplicity.
River

Viking River Cruises

Europe's rivers without the airports, rental cars, or hotel hopping. Viking River puts you in the center of cities you would spend weeks planning on your own. Small ships, included tours, and an itinerary that does the work for you.
Best For: Couples and retirees who want to see Europe (or the Mississippi, Nile, or Mekong) without the logistics of a land trip.
The Honest Take: River cruising is a completely different experience than ocean cruising. The ships are small, the pace is slower, and the focus is the destination, not the ship. If that sounds boring to you, it is not your trip. If it sounds perfect, it probably is.

Celebrity River Cruises

Celebrity's extension into European river cruising. Brings the Celebrity touch (design, service, food quality) to the rivers of Europe. Newer to the market, but backed by the Celebrity brand standards.
Best For: Fans of Celebrity Cruises who want to try river cruising without losing the brand experience they already trust.
The Honest Take: This is still a newer product. The Celebrity DNA is there in the design and service, but it does not have the track record of Viking River yet. If you love Celebrity and want rivers, this is the natural next step. If you are new to river cruising, Viking is still the safer first bet.
